Big Big Big Kicks!
This weeks player of the week goes to Joey Lynch for his monstrous boots. Joey started off with a triple, and followed it with a Big triple. Joey kicked it all the way to the fence and bounced over. Joey had most of the teams RBI's with the power boots he had on the first night of the league. I'm guessing he may fly one over the fence at some point this season. Nice job Joey, and great job at the plate!

Cycle!
This weeks player of the week goes to Elite S. from the Entercommies. In Eli's second game of the night runs were hard to come by, but he helped his team in the scoring department. With the final score of 9 to 6, Eli's production at the plate made the difference, and gave his team the win. Eli kicked for the cycle, and the winning runs were a bonus on a great night of booting the ball! Great job Eli!

With the Gin and Tectonics already playing with only 7 players, they didnt realize that Melissa was gonna have the game of her life. Melissa demonstrated great poise at the plate, having a 100% on base percentage and having 3 runs.. It was the top of the 5th and The Gin & Tectonics having 2 players on with two outs, the ball was kicked deep into left center field... Melissa gathered herself under the ball and made an amazing catch that got her whole team jumping and cheering for her. Its like they won the World Series.. Great game Melissa...

The Bed Bugs Are Coming For Ya!!!!
It was the play of the night, in fact it might have been the play of the week.....That's why Ed is the player of the week this week... The Bed Bugs are a new team, and everyone loves them because they have such a great time each and every week no matter what the score is.. Ed is a prime example. Always has a smile on his face and is really enjoying himself. With a runner on 1st base and 1 out, the ball was kicked fairly deep into center field where Ed was playing.. Ed gotta under the ball, caught it and without hesitating threw it to first where the runner ran without tagging for the double play... It was an amazing play that got both teams, fans and myself cheering for him.. Ed, great job out there and thanks again Bed Bugs for reminding us every week that Kickball is a fun sport and everyone should be having a great time like you all... Keep the smiles coming...

What started off as a close game in the first few innings, turned out to be not as close it was. Alex was a big reason for that. Alex played A-Rod type defense when he was a shortstop, grabbing everything in the air and ground. To put the icing on the cake, Alex kicked for the cycle which is really tough to do. He was a one man wrecking crew out there. Great game Alex.

Tristan leads the Honey Badgers to 2nd round of playoffs
Tristan leads the Honey Badgers to 2nd round of playoffs
Tristan played a significant role in both games playing catcher.
Numerous times he flirted with encroachment, but always stayed on top of defense.
In the first game he contributed with a variety of kicks on offense. In game two he was integral in upsetting the # 1 team.

This weeks playoff team honors go to the Entercommies and their successful championship run. They played two intense games to win it all and were able to relax at the end while sporting the champ shirts, the ones they are having made. The were solid on defense only allowing 12 runs total for both games while putting up 23 total against two great teams. Great job Entercommies, and great season, train hard in the off season!
