How a team does in the semi finals can determine how their finals games go. Sand traps were possible sussceptible to losing their mojo after a bitter fight to the end in the semi finals. They won the first game but their opponents came back and tied the series! The third game was neck and neck and Sand traps dug in their heels to push through for a win. Normally teams will get a rest before going into the finals but not tonight for Sand trap. They quickly hydrated and jumped on the court for their next opponent. With the win from the semis motivating them they cranked it up and beat their opponents in 2 games and win the championship! Great work Sand traps and ball slaps!

The underdogs predicted this historic season of being the team know one knew about and giving it their best shot so they named their team appropriately. However their name threw off many opponents who thought they were going to be easy to beat. Teams were wrong! The underdogs came out and worked as a team to bump, set and spike their way to victory. Focus and determination was the name of the game and they were ready for anything. That focus is what allowed them to win 2 out of 3 in the semis and start the finals early and take win a quick 2 games there. Each game they were one step closer and each game their focus became more in tune and determined to win! Great job underdogs as you have conquered Underdog as beach volleyball champions!!!
