Spring Co-ed Flag Football at Seattle Center Tuesdays

Jess Allen gets player of the week for her excellent performance throwing the ball. On two consecutive drives, Jess was thrust into the spotlight on gender plays as the QB. Jess stepped for her team and threw two TD passes. The second of the two was an impressive 20 yard pass on a 3rd and gender play, that she arced perfectly over two defenders into the waiting arms of her receiver in the back of the end zone. Her two passing TD's turned out to be the difference makers in her team's 26 to 21 victory over Pull me For a Good Time. Nice Work Jess!!

Talk about a hot start to the game! Within the first three minutes of his game on Tuesday Evan; caught a reception for a full field touchdown, and converted the extra point; returned a punt half the distance of the field to set up a three yard pass turned fifteen yard run for his second score and nabbed two interceptions. After the flurry of the first few minutes he calmed down a bit as he became double teamed on offense and avoided on defense, but still, Dang! That was and eye opening start to the game. Congratulations on the win and way to play!

Brian was unstoppable tonight in his team's game against Notorious BHT. Tenacious D dominated from start to finish, and Brian was a HUGE part of that. Brian finished the game with 3 TD's, but also had multiple key catches to extend drives and move the chains. Nice work Brian!

Daryl gets the final player of the week of the season for his clutch catch and his excellent rushing skills on defense. He was constantly harassing the QB and kept his rushing skills in check all game. More importantly however, Daryl made an amazing catch on the second possession in double OT. After the Monstars scored to tie the game, all they needed was a one point conversion to win: Daryl caught it in the air and toe tapped on the sideline to take a one point lead and clinch the championship for the Monstars. Nice work Daryl!!!
