East Coast Kickers
Taylor Murphy of East Coast Kickers was everywhere this past Monday at Lower Woodlands. The large field did not daunt Taylor, as he tracked down fly ball after fly ball, routine and otherwise. His defense was an integral part to his team's win. For covering like Earl Thomas, Taylor is our player of the week. Congratulations!

An Unreal Double Play
An Unreal Double Play
Don't be RiKICKulous
This past Monday at Queen Anne Playfields, Karolina turned a remarkable double play in her team's victory. While playing second base, Karolina had a great break on a hard line drive ball off the foot of a strong batter. Karolina expertly fielded the ball and then promptly doubled a runner of second base for the final out of the inning. For her excellent reactions and elite awareness, Karolina is our player of the week. Congratulations!

This Wednesday at Queen Anne Playfield, Brittney showed true grit when she played in a kickball game despite having a stress fracture in her foot. Brittney dutifully played the catcher position and got on base numerous times, demonstrating that she wasn't going to give in to the pain. For her fortitude, Brittney is our player of the week. Congratulations!

Don't be RiKICKulous
The 'Mongoose' pitched lights out for two wins in the double header giving up a total of 2 runs. He was quite offensive as well with a game breaking bases clearing 3 run triple in game 1. In total, Eric had at least 6 runs kicked in and scored 3 times. It was a complete and dominating performance on both sides of the ball.

Young James
"Are you a lawyer or a pro kickball player?" This was joking asked of James, whose sure hands aided his team to victory in the first game of their double header this Wednesday night. While playing first base, James caught a number of fly balls, cleanly fielded grounders, and stretched nicely to force out runners. For his excellent defense, James is our player of the week. Congratulations l!

Jeter Comes Out of Retirement
Jeter Comes Out of Retirement
This Wednesday at Queen Anne, Nick covered more ground than I've ever seen in a kickball game. At shortstop, Nick put on a truly "jeter-esque" performance. He caught fly balls in the infield, outfield, and at nearly every base. Nick records outs on throws, catches, and tags. He put on a tremendous show that had his whole team in awe. There was no question as to who our POTW would be. For his heroic effort, Nick is our player of the week. Jeter would be proud!

Sure Handed at First
Every week, Nate records many outs on catches and force outs at first base. Whomever throws his way can rest assured that he will finish the play. Like Paul Goldschmidt, Nate is a consistent gold glover at 1st. And his exemplary play continued tonight, earning him player of the week honors. Congratulations!

In a defensive showdown, Graham had a great game at the mound. With his team down 2 runs in the 5th inning, Graham also put his team back into the lead after finishing off a series of hits to clear the bases and put 3 runs on the board. Graham pitched a shutout in the final two inning to seal the game.

Shawn J
Shawn J
Drop Kick Murrays
Shawn was the key to victory for the Drop Kick Murrays in the semifinal game Monday night. He was an offensive dynamo with 3 triples and 7 runs kicked in with big twisting kicks that left defenders helpless. Playing at the hot corner, Shawn was diving to the line for a stop and making rocket throws to first for some close plays. He left it all on the field, including a little skin I'm sure.
