Spring Co-ed Kickball at Ballard Boys & Girls Club Sundays

Herbert was an absolute monster at 1st base. He made several key outs that would seal the deal for his teams victory. And some of those outs he had to withstand getting trucked. Sacrificing his body for the betterment of the team, thumbs up Herbert!

Bear was an absolute animal out there. He was all over the ball on the defense like a... well like a bear is all over a honeycomb. His heads up base running saved his team the game. He made a clutch run home while the defense was lulled asleep after getting their 2nd out in the bottom of the seventh. He made a sly move and took home to score, which tied the game up for them. Absolute stellar performance from Bear.

For this week Christina France is our Player of the Week. While at third base Christina was snagging every ball in sight. If there was a gold glove award in kickball she earned it in one game. Along with her great defensive effort Christina got on base and put herself in position to score. This is why Christina earned Player of the Week.

Even though they lost in the championship, Bear put on a performance that should be of note. He was an absolute animal out in center field. He made an insane diving catch over a teammate that no one expected to be caught. And he had some of the most aggressive base running of anyone this season. He worked his butt off this season and I want to give him a shoutout. Unfortunately he is moving to Michigan and this is his last time with Underdog so I would like to thank him for his excellent sportsmanship and wish him well!
