Allie
You would have thought it was mid-season, not opening day, the Allie was swinging the bat. She was crushing the ball all over the place and drove in countless runs to lead her team to a big opening day victory!

Eugene Blundell
Eugene Blundell
Eagle Bait
Eugene played a great game this week, he hit three no doubt doubt home runs and powered his team's offensive attack all day. When he wasn't hitting, Eugene was embodying the Underdog spirit. He Underdog spirit. He was constantly upbeat and kept his team the same same way. It's rare to see someone who's such a good teammate and also a such a good hitter but Eugene definitely fits the bill.

Hitmen
On a soggy Sunday afternoon in which all other games got cancelled, Chris pitched brilliantly and he and his defense held CFPR to 3 runs through 6 innings. CFPR warmed up, but it was a little too late. Congrats to the Hitman for their swamp victory.

Mark Huber
Mark Huber
Pitch slap
Mark had a great day on the mound as he pitched complete games in both games of Pitch Slap's double header. He was very effective at mixing up pitches and keeping his team in the game. Mark was also able to joke around the whole day and you could easily tell he was a great time. In the second game of their double header Mark was able to come up with a walk off double to win the game.

Kailey had three hits and three ones today. Even in the at bats where she didn't reach base Kailey was still hitting the ball hard but right at people. She was also very helpful to her team even when not in the field. She was able to keep her team engaged and in high spirits the whole day.

Glass By Lund Keeps Rolling
Glass By Lund Keeps Rolling
Team Looking Strong As Playoffs Approach
Glass By Lund is stacked from top to bottom and they are on a mission to get to that championship game and garner that most elusive league title. Their bats are on fire and their defense is extra stingy so if you are not scoring runs against this team, they will run you into the ground. Their hustle is unmatched, their knowledge of the game is high and they are playing at an all star level. League teams please be aware and please be prepared to do battle when you square off with this team. DO NOT forget to bring your A game. Great game guys and gals and we will see you all next week.

Mitchel Schumacher
Mitchel Schumacher
Eagle Bait
Mitch wins this week's Player of the Week award for crushing 2 HR's, leading his team to victory. He led off the bottom of the 1st with a bomb to center, but honestly at the speed he was going, he could have hit a lazy pop fly and raced around the bases. A relentless runner regardless of the sport he plays, Mitch is the guy you want at he dish when you need a spark.

Vaneza Gutierrez
Vaneza Gutierrez
Pitch slap
Vaneza G earns this week's Player of the Week award on Championship Sunday. Known as a light hitter throughout the season, Vaneza brought her A-Game on Sunday, as she went a combined 9-13 in her 3 playoff games. Vaneza also plays the position of catcher fantastically, catching 2 foul popups and saving the ump's life on a sharp comebacker. Well done, Vaneza and team!

Seth Kitzke
Seth Kitzke
Glass By Lund
Seth pitched well for Glass By Lund in both of their games. He pounder the zone all day and made his opponents hit it straight into the teeth of his defense. Seth even made a couple good plays on the mound himself. He fielded his position like a cat and was quick off the mound. None of the plays he made was bigger than the play he made for the final out of the championship game. With the bases loaded and two out, Seth snagged a hot shot right back at him to end the game and preserve the win for Glass By Lund. He was able to just slightly edge out Eric, also on Glass By Lund for player of the week. Eric was all over the field in the semifinal game making some great catches, including a full extension catch in left center to take a hit away.
