Spring Co-ed Dodgeball at Wallingford Boys & Girls Club Wednesdays

This weeks player of the week goes to Chris Peach for his awesome play that earned his team their first win of the season. Chris was always the solo player on the floor taking on the opponent at the end of games. He was focused and nobody could get a good shot on him with his excellent blocks. He not only was victorious on the floor, he also excited the floor after he was hit with no question. He was a winner and a great sportsman. Great job Peaches!

This weeks player of the week goes to Emily Grum for her epic catch in a big victory for her team. The ball hit her hands and flew high in the air, then came down and bounced of her hands once again. While play was happening around her she stayed focused on the task at hand and made a great tumble on the floor and eventually came up with the catch between her legs and score an out that will be remembered by all! Great job Emily!

This week's player of the week goes to Justin Morrison of Title 9. You will never find a better teammate than Justin. On the court he's got some sweet moves and even steps into the line of fire to protect his fellow DBallers. On the sideline, the dude is constantly goofin around, keepin' things fun and light. When asked to represent a possible player of the game nomination, he refused...not wanting to take any credit for being a bad ace (if he was asked who he'd thank for their victories, guaranteed, he'd give all the credit to his teammates). Thanks for showing us a little modesty, Justin! And...way to plow some people over w/that cannon:)

Maria played with passion on this night becoming player of the game twice on her way to winning the softcore championship. Maria made several catches, diving left and right and makeing several key blocks to keep her team alive. Great job and great play Maria. Good luck next season!!
