Spring Co-ed Flag Football at Seattle Center Saturdays

This weeks player of the week goes to Yao for Flag Snaggers and his scoring performance. In a very close game it was Yao who made the difference for his team and helped them get a win 18 to 14. Yao Snagged a TD catch on offense, but his big play came on special teams. WIth the game on the line it was Yao's long punt return that put his team over the top. Great job Yao on a great game!

In the game of the week between Lahar and Look at our Nice TD's, we had one stand out player. Adam played spatacular!!! He had 3 receiving TD's. Each one was a finger tip grab at the back of the End Zone. After a while of playing receiver he got bored and told his team that he is the greatest and he should be QB. His team laughed but gave him a shot. He them surprised everyone and threw for two TD's. It was a good thing his team had good hands as the throws looked like ducks in the air. Seriously though, he had a great week.

There was only one point in the entire game between Shutdown to Touchdown and Crosswired, in which SD to TD had the lead, and that was with 0:00 on the clock. In a total team effort, Andy Johnson led the way, keeping his team in the game by catching two touchdown passes. His second touchdown was on the last play from scrimmage and allowed Shutdown to Touchdown an opportunity to snatch a victory, and of course, they took advantage of that opportunity. Congratulations to the winners!

Brian had a great week. He made a big contribution at the end of the championship game where he picked off the ball and ran it back for 6 points. This sealed the game and championship for his team. Nice work Brian.
