This week's player of the week goes to Stephanie Madsen of the Dirt Squirrels. Stephanie played 2 excellent kickball games on the evening of the 4th of May. Her lightning speed and sweet bunts/kicks got her on base practically every time. She also worked the D, making big time catches and getting some tough outs w/her counterpart, Paige, who also played 2 outstanding KB games. Hold on to those two, Dani...word is spreading about their talent;) Great job!

Paul rolled off an amazing kickball performance.
There were several times he was applauded by both teams for his efforts.
At first base Paul snagged anything that came his way, robbing some fancy bunts.
On one occasion he killed a late inning rally with a laser throw to home plate from first that knicked the gazelle-like leaping runner in mid-air as he was about to land on the plate, ending the inning.
To put the sprinkles on top of his sundae, he pulled through in the clutch in the bottom of the 7th with the winning run in scoring position. He delivered the nail in the coffin and entered Underdog folklore...

Field My Balls
Ryan Cochran played a spectaculat game at first base. The game was a very a defensive minded game, so his stretch plays at first base helped keep Turd Ferguson at bay. His greatest play came late in the game when Turd Ferguson was trying to mount a rally. Ryan made his usual stretch play at first then gunned the ball over to third to get the runner trying to advance from first to third for a double play. This play helped propel Field My Balls to the win. Keep up the good defense Ryan!

Max comes through in the clutch
Field My Balls and Pantsoff Danceoff played a defensive game with no runs being scored until Max came to the plate in the fourth inning. Until that time no guys had reached based for Field My Balls. Max's double in the fourth inning broke the scorless tie and led to a 3 run inning rally, which was enough for Field My Balls to get the W. Nice clutch kicking Max.

Big Tab earns another league title
Field My Balls comes up short
Another MLT season, another Big Tab league title.
But this time was much different than past seasons. They had to earn the title this time, with late come from behind victories in both playoff matches. In the semifinal Turd Ferguson took an early lead, but BT scratched their way back with POTG Joe Chatterton kicking both the tying and winning hits including his bottom of the seventh walkoff.
In the Final, it was back and forth battling but in the end the veteran kicking and baserunning brought the title back.
Congrats Big Tab on another victorious league campaign, they are now 4-Peat champs of MLT and have won 5 of the last 6 MLT leagues!
