However, that would be all SKFB would allow, as they used a four-run fourth to pull away for a 10-3 victory, continuing 2011 where they left off in 2010, Everett champions.

Things were not looking up for the Bad News Beers. Despite scoring 3 runs in the top of the first, the short-handed Beers gave up 4, and the early lead, in the bottom of the frame. However, a combination of team defense and self-sacrifice on offense helped them score a run in each of the next four innings while keeping their opponent scoreless. By the time Fluke Yeah broke the drought with a run in the bottom of the sixth, the damage was done, and Bad News held on for an 8-5 victory.
