Battleship Prepared for War
When I watch this team play it reminds me of a huge battleship with big beautiful 16 inch guns loaded with state of the art technology, the best radar systems and armed to the teeth. Simply put, when this team steps onto a softball field it's all business and they are always prepared to do battle. If your ship cannot withstand an early barrage from this team and starts to take on water early, chances are you are going to have a long day. This team is stacked from top to bottom male to female and they don't quit coming once they start. They dropped 25 large on league mainstay Ball Related which is not easy to do with the talent levels on most teams. They made it look easy and like they have been doing it for years. Please bring your A game and please take your hustle pill before squaring off with this team and good luck.

Total team effort
Ball Related showed up with a purpose today and that purpose was to crush the ball. From the start of their double header through the final inning of the second game, it was a hit parade for everyone on the team. With multiple 9+ run innings, Ball Related strung together hits like lights on a Christmas tree. It was a true offensive outburst. If they hit like that all season, watch out!

Brett is just an incredible gamer, and he brought game to Greenlake on Saturday. Always a threat at the plate, Brett had a couple good hits, and later even came in to pitch for the Un-Incredibles at the end of game 2 of the double-header. He even helped put out the cones to mark off the field between games.

Good play and a good attitude makes Brett Player of the Week!

In game one of Scared Hitless's double header, Dan lit it up coming up just s single shy of the cycle and had several quality defensive plays to lead his team to victory in game 1. Game 2 in the scorching sun took a little energy out of Hitless. They battles hard, but even Dan hot bat couldn't save them. Either way, great day for Dan and solid performance all around for Scared Hitless.

Bo5 is playing some great softball right now and they are looking like the odds on favorite to walk away with the league title. They are a complete team from their pitching, to their defense,to their base running and to their hitting. This team is definitely the real deal and looking and feeling confident about their chances going foward. Taylor and Eric both had epic days leading Bo5 to a white wash of Suicide Squeeze Squad. The Un-Incredibles are peaking right now and playing some really fantastic softball. They survived an 11 inning drudge match on Sunday coming out on top after some late game heroics by Brian. This was a tough battle and gets them ready to do more battle as we get deeper into the playoffs. Great game guys and gals and we will see you in the next round.

Rick had a great day at the park today. In the semi final game he had 3 hits, one of which was a home run and the other two triples. You really can't have a better offensive game than Rick did in a bigger game for your team. Cold Cuts advanced to the finals and end up winning. Without Rick who knows if they even would have made it to the finals in the first place.
