Game Winning RBI!

Scott capped off a big time Young Guns comeback on Sunday. They started off the inning with a 3 run deficit, after trailing the whole game. Their bats came alive in the bottom of the 7th as with 2 runners on and down 1, Scott smashed a hit to left center field, which plated his two teammates for the win!

Kiyo Peterman had 4 hits, including a 3 run double, leading Sports! to a 16-7 win over the Arbornauts. Kiyo also played great defense at both 2nd base and right center field, handling a number of hard hit balls with ease and making laser throws for the put outs. Great work, Kiyo!

On Sunday, facing a tough Ninja Turtles team, Andrew came up big. He was huge with the bat, hitting two timely doubles, as well as gunning down runners from multiple positions in the field.

GATO makes it look easy

All star has huge game

Tabi "GATO" Albertson has the swing and mechanics that you only find in the softball olympics. GATO as her friends call her... or maybe its Tabi...or maybe it should be best freakin softballer this side of the Mississippi...either way, Tabitha was able to get on base at every at bat and advanced a bunch of runners (something she could teach the Mariners). To add to her awesome hitting power, she tore it up on defense too by making some great plays. GATO or Tabi or mrs smooth, whatever you want to refer to her as, is an underdog ALL STAR. Nice work!!

Angela Sze is amazing at dodgebal and softball

When Angela gets to the park, her mind is on kicking ass at softball, but you have to wonder if her skillz at dodgeball help her excel at softball. She's quick and has great footwork in dodgeball and during her game against the Frank and the Boozers, she was excellent at making some sweet catches and drilling some awesome hits. Is Angela Sze fooling us all by using one sport to get ahead of the other OR is Angela just one hell of an athlete? I choose both, but what do you think?

Out of This World Defense and Superb Hitting Steals Best of Show For The Week

After a number of solid candidates for this week's POTW came and went, Kevin Hsieh easily stood out above the rest. To thwart an early first inning rally, Kevin made a SportsCenter-worthy leaping grab that left everyone on the field in awe of his hops. But he wasn't even close to being done for the day. At the plate, Kevin stole the show offensively as well, hitting seamlessly with hit after hit keeping his team in the game.
Multiple double plays at shortstop including a bare-fisted grab near the base solidified Kevin's place on the podium for the week's top honor. Great game Kevin!
