Late Summer Co-ed Beach Volleyball at Alki Wednesdays

In the cut-throat world of beach volleyball, teams will use any edge they can get out there. Recognizing the need for more streamlined headgear, the Adventure Club donned the outfits of crayons, including aerodynamic hats that allowed them to jump just a little bit higher and farther. This weeks standout, Kate brout all of the three colors that mix to make success: The color intensity, the color hustle, and the color power. Looks like Adventure Club is looking for a pot of gold medals at the end of their rainbow this season.

It's always interesting to see how the dynamics on Indy teams play out. As for Brian Eyster and Indy #1, things seem to be going quite well. Brian had a lot of power behind each and every hit, as well as several strings of killer serves. With the help of his team, Brian walked off the sand with three wins tonight!

Cary Janz was a brick wall out there tonight. When the rotation allowed him to be in front, he killed it! The Monkey Lovers sent some hard hit balls over the net, but whenever Cary was there, nothing was getting through. Not only was his blocking quite excellent, but Cary got a few hard hits in himself!

It was a beautiful day down on Alki! The sun was shining, the sky was blue, it was great. Jenny Hoffman of Don't Bump to Strangers was not afraid to use her voice. They played a double header tonight and Jenny consistently spoke up and communicated, which really helped her team out. Nice work!
