Adam was definitely channeling his Olympian father tonight as he help bowl his team to victory. After a near death experience with a bunny in the parking lot, Adam quickly got in touch with his inner lawn bowler and started racking up the points. From knocking opponents out of the way to strategic spin throws, he was on fire and was not going to let anything get in his way.

Rollin' To Victory
Chris came up big on Thursday night. First, he was involved in a one point roll off in the 6:30pm match. Needing to roll his one ball closer, Chris rolled first getting close and leaving little room inside his ball. It held up and gave Brew Balls a 2-1 win.

In the 2nd match, he kept his great rolling going. One one single roll, he was responsible for bringing his team back from losing an end (0 pts) to knocking some balls around and picking up 3 pts, for a 4 pt match swing.

Betty strikes again
Since winning the Gold medal for Bocce Ball in the 1972 Munich Olympics Kristan, better known as Betty these days, has gone on to win multiple world and national medals and has broken many records. Betty is currently holding the title in the senior division and claims it will be hers until she dies.
Tonight, Betty graced us with her gold medal presence and brought joy to many players who love and admire her. She bowled another great game tonight, despite all her fans hounding her for autographs. I just hope one day I too can be a gold medal bocce baller like Betty Blackhart.

One of the best skills to have in bocce ball is the ability to place it in a convenient spot as the last roller of your team. Jake has mastered this skill beautifully over the course of the season. He continually would pick up the win for his team by knocking a ball out of the way, blocking a ball, curving a ball to be the closest to the palino or something along those lines. He has turned bocce ball into an art form.
