Dominating Like Team of Old
Random Collision has not skipped a beat between seasons and are on track to rule the Wednesday night league. With a strong hitting performance, great pitching and defense, this team is for real and they are a little salty about getting knocked out of the playoffs last season. The went 2-0 on the night and handled Kates Pub who just came off a championship the same nght, with relative ease. Good to see RC back in the saddle and looking to exact revenge on any team that gets in their way. Two great wins to start the season! Congratulations.

Drops 29 on Guys and Gals
The machine just keeps on rolling and on Wednesday night they solidified themselves putting up 29 runs and looking quite dominant. In a league with some very tough teams, this team would be the team to look out for. From their pitching to their stellar defense, this team is for real and looking rather scary to the rest of the league. Great game and great win RC.

Damani Nkeiruka
Damani Nkeiruka
COJK
Damani had an amazing double-header for COJK, with good performance at the plate and in the field, but a single play really put him over the top this week.

On a ball hit to the outfield Damani ranged over and snagged it off the grass, with just enough laziness to goad the runner into trying for the extra base. A clever ploy, Damani instantly snapped alert and fired the ball with the cold precision of the Terminator to the bag. Out, with the baseman not required to move the glove.

The play made the rest of night fairly pedestrian for Damani, but he still brought it at the plate with a couple deep balls and big hits. All in a ll a great performance well worthy of player of the week.

No Pants Party
No Pants Party
No Pants Party won a tightly contested game to move back to .500 on the season. This team is clicking at the right time, just a couple of weeks before the playoffs begin. A 9 run first inning catapulted No Pants Party to a big lead that they never relinquished. Brian J had a monster game with 2 HR's to carry the offense.

Family Values
Earl Fletcher was an absolute stud on Wednesday night during Family Values' doubleheader. The oldest player on the field played like he was in his prime on both offense and defense. Earl smashed 2 HRs at the plate, and delivered sterling defense in right center, including one great sliding catch. Earl's great performance lead to Family Values' first win of the season in game 1.

Dylan had an amazing all around night. He led the offensive show with 2 HR and 6 RBI. Dylan was no slouch on defense either as he started 2 double plays in the infield. You really can't have a better in a bigger than Dylan did in the playoffs tonight.

Michael Jeffery
Michael Jeffery
Elevate N Celebrate
Mike had a huge night for Elevate N Celebrate, but the highlight of the night was a go-ahead grand slam in the second inning that disappeared over the left-center field hill and fence. It gave the team the lead and they never looked back. It was all just another day's work for Mike, who consistently blasted the ball around the yard and was almost always on base.

On top of that, Mike also turned in some great performances on the mound and picked up two wins on the way to a championship night MVP!
