Late Fall Co-ed Volleyball at Seattle Central Tuesdays

Squad goals put up a tough fight on Tuesday night against Baby Got Back(sets). Joey led the team with not only killer serves and bullseye passing but with non-stop laughter and positive energy. Although his team was just shy of a win, Joey and Squad Goals deserves this week's player of the week for their determination and positivity! Great work all around!

Every week there is a player who stands out among the rest for their agility, quick reflexes, gravity-defying hops, or killer servers, but rarely does one encounter a player who can do it all. Martin is this week's player of the week for his stellar performance on Tuesday night. Time after time again Martin frustrated his opponents when they thought the point was over, but then Martin, out of nowhere saved the ball, putting it up for his teammates. Like a homing pigeon, Martin flew towards the ball, whether he was back-court, front-row, or behind the service line, sending it back across the net and down on his opponent's court. Awesome work, Martin!

It was hard to choose just one player to represent the abundance of talent among Planet Volleywood's deep roster, but one player consistently finds a way to rack up ace and kills with casual confidence...Pili deserves this week's player of the week for the many nights that he frustrated his opponents with finesse and scrappiness as he sent the ball ripping past the block, towards the opponent's floor. Congratulations Pili and Planet Volleywood for winning the championship Tuesday night! Nice work!
