Fall Midcore Volleyball at First Baptist Wednesdays

On occasion, sports offer a platform for an athlete to transcend the competition and the game played. Such was the case when Chao Lai of Win or Lose, We Booze transcended volleyball with his stellar performance. The team turned to Chao when they were in need of a play to make a comeback. Time and time again, Chao answered the call, recording numerous aces along the way. The biggest, greatest moment came in the third set when Chao delivered the winning kill for his team to take the final set. For his overall wonderful performance, Chao is our Player of the Week! Congratulations!

Will "the Kill" definitely lived up to his nickname tonight. He was flying all over the court and seemed to get a kill every time he connected with a ball. The ball was coming off great off his hand and his opponents were unable to do anything with basically any ball he connected with.

Cooper was flying around the court tonight. It seemed that whenever a ball was in the air Cooper was there to bring it screaming back down to earth. Cooper was everywhere and made sure people knew he was there with his amazing amount of kills.
