A tough 3 game match against Grumble came out with Hot Sets victorious. Game 1 started with great defense by Grumble, but eventually the strong offense of Hot Sets proved too much for the other team.
The 2nd game started with several kills on the part of Grumble followed by a sick serving streak by Maggie. Kills by Elizabeth and Maggie won the game for Grumble at 27-25.
The third game started out intensely, with only 15 minutes left on the clock. Stan on Grumble killed it on the short game for the first few points, but an ace by Hot Sets brought the ball back to their side. An amazing serving streak by Margie of Hot Sets created a lead for them. Hot Sets managed to hold onto the lead until the clock buzzed with the score at 23-16, Hot Sets for the win!

In an intense match against the indy team, Speed Bumps, Spiking Green showed their champion colors! The first game started off with Speed Bumps only having 4 players versus Spiking Greens 5. Both teams were short on people, but not short on talent, as the fight went back and forth. Good serving by Spiking Green brought them into the lead halfway through with a 13-11 lead. By the end of the day the teams were tied 22-22, when 3 aces in a row by Spiking Green saved the day!
The 2nd game started out close and stayed close. Speed Bumps had a hot serving streak at the beginning of the day to pull ahead, but Spiking Green pulled out some crazy attacks and scrappy digs to get themselves back in the game. The game ended 28-26 with Spiking Green the newest champions!
