The championship game was fraught with close calls and great saves. The Clever Beaches had killer serves, great plays off the net, and incredible diving saves. They were ahead in the beginning, winning the first game. The Volley Llamas, however, picked up the energy in the second game to come out barely ahead of the Clever Beaches. The Volley Llamas had some amazing digs to keep the ball alive, Trevor hit the ball well, and there was overall great hustle, leading to the Volley Llamas snatching the gold. A true Underdog story. Congratulations to ATC, winners of the Midcore league! Dinks All Around live up to their name, dinking the ball with intention and great placement to often end the rally, and their serves were insane. However, ATC fought back and picked up their dinks, diving and hustling all over the place. They also had good placement, ultimately leading to the championship coming to an end with ATC in the lead!
