Dirty Mike and the Boys, the two seed, capped off the Spring Co-ed Softball at Greenlake on Saturday’s by putting a hurting on Ball Related in a 28-10 runaway. This came after holding on to their 19-13 lead in a tense seventh inning against the Thunder Buddies in the semis the game before. Dirty Mike started strong with an eight run first inning and kept the peddle on from there. They posted eight runs again in the fourth and six and five runs in the fifth and sixth innings respectively. Ball Related, the number one seed, couldn’t find their stride at the plate thanks to some lock-down defense by some speedy outfielders. Bridgette was named the game’s MVP by going 4-4 at the plate with two doubles and two RBIs. It was a solid season for Dirty Mike and the Boys and they will wear their CHAMPS headbands proud.
