Bad News Beers
Tom Lockhart was celebrating his birthday the best way possible, an Underdog Kickball game. All he wanted for his birthday was a win for the Bad News Beers, but he would get much more. With the Bad News Beers trailing most of the game, Tom was able to make his mark on the game in the sixth inning when he ignited a come from behind rally with a home run. The Bad News Beers were able to hold onto the lead for the win, so Tom got his birthday wish.

Fluke Yeah!
Nari and the reat of Fluke Yeah had to wait weeks for the start season due to a couple rain outs and a bye in the first week. However their delay did not hamper their spirits as Fluke Yeah came out of the gates strong in their first week, lead by their Fearless Leader Nari Tenkley. She like the rest of her team reached base often in both their games. What made it extra special for Nari besides winning both games is she kicked a grand slam to help get the first runs on the board in their second game. Way to go Nari and Fluke Yeah on a great start to your season. Keep up the good work!

FIELD MY BALLS
Phil Chumly and the rest of Field My Balls came out of the gates fast, scoring double digit runs within the first two innings. Phil's contribution to the early scoring was a home run with his right foot. While Field My Balls was trying to hold off Bad News Bears from making a late comeback, Phil was able to pad to their lead by kicking another homerun, only this time he kicked it with his left foot. Phil's offense helped propel Field My Balls to a much needed win.

Bad News Beers
Tyler came into the game recovering from a left knee injury, but you would never know it watching the game. Tyler was all over the field on defense, making key catches to stop any rallies from Clubbabyseals. At the plate, Tyler proved his worth by getting on base almost everytime he came to plate including in the fifth inning when he kicked a home run to help extend the lead for Bad News Beers. Tyler's night came to abupt end in the bottom of the fifth with a right knee injury, but his early contributions helped lead Bad News Beers to a victory.Tyler get better, rest and ice news.

Harvey Ball Bangers
Steve Bryant had one of those defensive games that makes you think he made all the outs by himself. Steve seemed to be in the middle of all the outs from making mutiple catches to helping turn double plays. The Havey Ball Bangers needed every bit of Steve Bryant's defense as they were able to squeak out a one run win over the feisty Balls Deep.

Bad News Beers
In a game featuring 4 lead changes, a 3-run HR and a bases-loaded triple, Chelsey showed that sometimes, it's the small stuff that counts. With her team down by a run and a runner on, she represented the go-ahead run. On a slow pitch about a half-foot outside the plate, it appeared to everyone that she was going to let it go for a ball. Then, surprise! she tapped it down the third-base line for a perfectly placed bunt. She would eventually come around to score the go-ahead run, giving the Beers a lead they wouldn't relinquish.
