Playing with the indy team for the first time, Brian really pulled his team together! Brian had multiple kills, digs and great serves! Moving in the sand is a definite challenge but it's no problem for Brian, moving swiftly and covering not only his position but being able to chase after balls for some awesome saves!

A lot of players believe that every good play starts with a pass but it actually starts in your head. Levi is a great example of having good sportsmanship. Staying positive whether you are winning or losing is a definite challenge but Levi manages to keep his energy up, cheering on not only his team but even the team he's playing against! Along with having a great attitude, Levi is a definite asset to the team at the net. Having several blocks and kills, bringing his team to victory!!

Sandy balls on a hot summer day
After losing the last two games of their first match of the night, Kelli wouldn't let her team hang their heads on Wednesday night. Her attitude was key in rallying her team to pick up their games. The results of her never say die attitude showed up early as Sandy Balls picked up the first game against Sets in the City 21-13 before picking up the match win with a 21-8 win in the second game.

Susan is a fantastic setter and always puts a 100% into everything she does on the court! Susan put her team together and has been teaching her teammates the necessary skills to survive on the volleyball court! She is a natural leader, demonstrating patience and helpfulness towards all her teammates!

Melanie Licis is an absolute all-star for Only Our Drinks are Spiked. Melanie organized the team and is a huge source of positive moral for her team. Players from other teams have said that her skills have really improved and I have to agree with that! She's a stud on the sand! She always makes sure to get her team mates the ball as much as possible and is a committed team player. Right on, Melanie. You rocked it this week!
