Winter Softcore Volleyball at First Baptist Thursdays

Sports? started out week 2 very strong. Ending the evening 3-0, this team is showing signs of technical progress. Focusing on skill development is an essential component to player development. Notably, Katie took the lead and provided clear instruction and gave tips to her team throughout the night. What stood out was Katie's ability to share her knowledge in a way that was positive and easy to follow. Demonstrating the Underdog spirit, Katie not only helped her teammates develop their skills - but grow into a cohesive unit.

Sean was so easy to play this week he showed up at 6 on the dot. He even helped put up the net and was able to start warming up soon thereafter. That helped him bring the fire on the city with solid his and dogs left and right. Great playing Sean!

Tonight Robin bump, set, and smooshed the opposing team in the third set! Whatever was put up for Robin to hit, he worked with and put it down! Whatever was put down at Robin he worked to get it up! Amazing hustle and effort by Robin tonight!

Tonight Brinlee led her team, Spaghetti Rumble to not only beat team Bump, Set, Smoosh, but pushed her team all the way to the number one spot in championships! When she wasn't digging, setting, and killing the ball on the court, Brinlee was on her team's sideline, cheering for her team with an unmatched energy! Congrats to champs Spaghetti Rumble, and nice job Brinlee!
