In his Underdog Sports Leagues debut, Tyler impressed on both sides of the ball. He started off hot with the bat, hitting an early home run that built a strong and ultimately insurmountable lead. He'd add another monster home run later in the game. On the pitching side, he held Plaka Seagulls to just 2 runs over 7 innings.

In the match-up of the two teams with the biggest bats in the league, Scott helped take down Where My Pitches At? with only one eye. Early in the game, Scott gobbled up a quick ground ball to third, but the hop brought a clump of dirt with it that landed in Scott's eye. He wouldn't let that affect his defense though as he turned a picture perfect double play later in the game.

The game was tied in the 7th. Kate came up to bat and did not hit the ball out of the park but she got a single. There was a error that sent her to 2nd. Danny then came up to bat and sent her home for the winning run. Great job coming through in the final inning Kate for getting on base and Danny for getting the RBI. By far the game of the week at Paramount Field. Hats off to both the Shag and Ground Rule.

Graham played awesome in a close victory over Where My Pitches At. He came on to pitch in relief and slowed the rally of WMPA and also played solid defense in centerfield when he wasn't on the rubber. At the plate he made huge contributions as he did club a 3-run HR. Awesome game Graham!

Even though Laura from the Seattle Shaggy Muskrats had a great catch that turned the momentum of the second game, this week's Player of the Week is Kerri Widner from the mountainBrew crew. Her running catch in right field while looking into the sun is something that everyone who saw it will talk about it all week. I even heard "devine intervention" being thrown around. On Sunday Ian was very serious about winning another league championship for Mountain Brew Crew and he proved it at the plate and in the field. Batting 4 for 4 with 2 deep base clearing jacks, a triple, 2 doubles and batting in 6 RBIs. Ian also scored 5 runs in the championship game. Great job Ian!!
