Very rarely do you see a perfect sweep in any sports league. Not only did Dirty Sets win every game in the regular season, but they all won every set in the regular season. Dirty Sets proved to be the Goliath of the league and they showed there was no David to challenge them. Easily making it to the playoffs, Dirty Sets were matched up against Spikadelic in the first round. Just like in the regular season, Dirty Sets took care of their opponents 2-0 leaving their record untarnished going into the championship game against Midwest Migrants.
Midwest Migrants were no pushovers coming into the championship game. In fact, Midwest Migrants were also undefeated coming in and they showed why against Dirty Sets.
Taking an early lead, Midwest Migrants were beginning to take control of the game. That is when Dirty Sets had enough! With the great serving by Mary Lou and inspiring play by Lorenzo, Dirty Sets tied the game at 20-20 and took the next two points for the 22-20 first set win. The second set proved to be just as tough as both teams kept trading away points. But with Lorenzo continually to dominate, Dirty Sets came back again late in the game winning 21-18.
Dirty Sets not only took care of business in the regular season, but also had the clean sweep in the playoffs establishing dominance for a perfect season! Great Job Dirty Sets!

The Fab Four had quite the journey going to the playoffs after going 2-4 in the regular season. No one thought The Fab Four could go against all odds and even have a chance at winning a playoff game, let alone the championship. But The Fab Four proved that teamwork can defeat any foe.
The regular season was used as a tune up for The Fab Four as they figured out what they were really made of. They seemed to figure it all out just in time for playoffs. The Fab Four defeated Yours! Indy #8 2-1 in the first round then went on to beat Sandy Clams Indy #9 2-1 as well. After taking care of both the Indy teams, The Fab Four was set up against Wednesday Adventure Club for the Volleyball Championship.
Matthew and Keion had a connection with each other as they both just knew how each would play. Matthew would set the ball and Keion would spike. But in order for them to do that they needed the perfect pass. That's where Hiko and Ashley came in as they covered the majority of the court to spark the offense. After splitting the first two sets, The Fab Four was buried in a huge deficit late in the third set. As a great leader and captain would, Keion called for a timeout to gather their composure. The Fab Four was once a team that would crumble under this pressure but not anymore. With superhuman energy, everyone played their part to garner a comeback to take out Wednesday Adventure Club late in the game 21-17.
As the "Feel Good" story of the season, The Fab Four celebrated their victory after the game with their own "happy" dance!. Great Job everyone! You are Champions!

Indy #10 came into the regular season as a group with undeniable talents and great potential. Their first game of the regular season would have deflated any team's moral after losing straight sets to All Sets Are Off, but not Indy #10. They took this league by storm going undefeated the rest of the way to playoffs. After winning in the first round of playoffs, Indy #10 was stacked up against Confluence Design + Build who displayed amazing passing abilities. Indy #10 still proved to be too much beating their opponents 2-1 setting up a rematch against the undefeated All Sets Are Off.
This iron man match lasted just over an hour as the victor was to be decided. Winded and exhausted, both teams tried to find any advantage they could to pull out a win. Indy #10's advantage came from Jeff Stein, who was absolutely determined to finally win a volleyball championship. After splitting the first two sets, Jeff continually displayed his dominance at the net blocking and spiking balls left and right. He became the motivation for his team to win. With the last set tied at 20-20, both teams became silent. Five minutes later a loud jubilant cheer was heard from Indy #10 as they put away All Sets Are Off 22-20 , winning the Midcore Volleyball Championship!
Great Job Indy #10!! You all were amazing to watch this season!
