Jeremy Devlin
Jeremy Devlin
Ralph Boccios
While Jeremy Devlin is calm and cool by nature, if you ask any of his Ralph Boccios teammates, they'll tell you he's an absolute badass. One example of his badass track record comes from this past Thursday night as Jeremy came through in the clutch when his team really need him. Devlin managed to win the game for his team on the final roll while also rolling with such precision that his ball rested firmly against the palino, not only scoring an impressive victory for his team, but an amazing shot that won him two prize tickets. While his teammates all went bananas, Jeremy took all of it in stride. Just another day at bocce for this badass.

Deck the Balls
In Bocce Ball, there are those who are roll players, and those that change the game. Ashley Spreda definitely falls into the second category. Her greatness was on display on Thursday night, as she led her to a 1-1 draw against an upstart squad by the name of A Bocce Pun.

I Got Ya Bocce Balls Right Here
I Got Ya Bocce Balls Right Here faced two epic encounters on Thursday night and came away unscathed thanks to Wyatt Dunlap. Mr. Dunlap was clutch as usual, winning player of the game in both of his teams' victories, while leading an impressive comeback in the second match. All in all, Wyatt is definitely deserving of Player of the Week.

I Got Ya Bocce Balls Right Here
Michael Spinetta earned himself Player of the Week honors, as he was player of the game in both of his teams matches on Thursday, and played the role of Hero in both. In the second game, Spinetta really shined as he saved a bocce in the third game to clinch the win for I Got Ya Bocce Balls Right Here. Congratulations to Michael and his strong team!

4 Teams Advance, All Teams Bocce!!!
Four teams advanced, but who won...?
Energy was high and spandex was shining bright as teams filled up the field at Woodland Park Bowling on Thursday evening. The first round of games started with Plays With Balls going against I Got Ya Bocce Balls Right Here, while Bocce Ballers came up against Loose Seals. The competition was fierce yet friendly on both courts, but only two could move to the winners circle; those two lucky teams were I Got Ya Bocce Balls Right Here and Bocce Ballers.

I Got Ya Bocce Balls Right Here team donned their impressive wrestler masks in an attempt to intimidate the Bocce Ballers (and secure a few last-minute spirit points), but the Bocce Ballers showed up prepared with their color-coordinated sweat bands. The first game Bocce Ballers came out strong for a 3-7 score. I Got Ya Bocce Balls Right Here were a bit shaken, but weren't ready to give up the fight. An intense second game resulted in a score of 7 for I Got Ya Bocce Balls Right Here, 5 for Bocce Ballers. Nails were being bit, people were pacing, the intensity of the competition was fierce as the two teams prepared to play a third and final match to decide who the reigning champion would be.

Once the extra court was set up (that's right kids, the game was so intense that they needed their own special court), the third round began. It was neck and neck; balls were flying, measuring tapes were being whipped out left and right, and nothing but screams and cheers were coming from their court. But in the end, only one team can prevail. Only one can walk proudly out of the winners circle and call themselves champions. After a long hard battle, I Got Ya Bocce Balls Right Here reigned victorious. Bocce Ballers played a tough game, and were gracious losers (gotta give them a shout out for their sportsmanship). Congratulations to I Got Ya Bocce Balls Right Here for an incredible win!
