Bloodbath, after narrowly escaping a hard fought battle with Q, once again faced the old familiar foe. As is has many time before, the rights to the Championship Trophy once again came down to a face-off with powerful arch-rival "Ecks".
In a contest featuring players on both squads, it was Ecks who took the early lead that held up through halftime, in a back and forth scoring fest.
Relying on his hall of fame sideline coaching staff, Quarterback Jonathan "Pip" Pipkin delivered his finest half to date, and led a squad who spent the entire half-time arguing how to play defense, to score after score. The opportunity to take the lead hinged on a critical interception, scooped up by the wily veteran Jason Durbin, giving Bloodbath the extra possession needed to turn the contest in their favor, leading to Lucky 13!
