After an intense first match earlier in the day, Fleetwood Smac moved on to play Peaches in the championship. This game was wrought with amazing serves, digs, and spikes. In a match that went to a third set, both teams gave it their all. At one point in the match there was a play that went back and forth with both teams diving effortlessly and digging the ball to save it and continue the rally. This match was incredibly well-fought, and well-deserved by Fleetwood Smac. Congrats, everyone!

This game was incredibly entertaining to watch. There was hardly a rally where someone wasn't on the ground, diving for the ball. There were so many saves that one couldn't even keep count. Chafing Champs had some excellent plays, including great placement of the ball and good controlled passes. This match went to a very close three sets because of how evenly matched these teams were. In the end, The Transplants had great serves and spectacular defense to secure their place at the top. Congrats, Transplants (and Daisy)! Thanks for a great season.

In a hard fought battle, Bump n Grind secured the win tonight against the Clam Diggers. Not without a fight, though. The Clam Diggers played with ferocity and passion that could be seen in the way they hit the ball over the net. They played two matches tonight, winning the first and coming close in the second. However, Bump n Grind came to win. They were determined and controlled, with excellent serves, digs, and spikes. Both teams brought the heat tonight, but Bump n Grind were on fire. With their matching shirts, the Basic Beaches played their hearts out. Attack Pack as always had excellent digs, sets, and hits almost every play. They are calm and controlled, and ready for almost anything. Basic Beaches, however, offensively could not be tamed, and defensively would not let a ball drop.
