The championship game was a tightly defended strategic affair. Being down a run in the top of the 7th Indy had the bases loaded with no outs. A double play ensued and times became desperate. A clutch three run homer put Indy up two runs and they were able to hold Sit On My Base scoreless in the final inning to win their first championship.
