Late Fall Midcore Volleyball at First Baptist Wednesdays

Opening night, Jesse started the season off right with some sensational net play! Beautiful blocks, tricky tips, and perfectly placed pushes helped her win the points her team needed in their 6:30 match. When the rallies got tough, she upped her offense and followed through with a kill! Great job tonight, Jesse!

Double dipping this week as both Player of the Game AND Player of the Week is none other than That's What She Set's very own, Drew O!

This week's match ups brought some tight competition and down to the wire action. With long rallies, kept alive by seemingly impossible digs and cross-court coverage - it felt like there was no ball Drew could not get to! All out effort, Drew some how managed to get to a shanked ball and thread it past the basketball net and up to an attacker. Moments later, he was getting the kind of air reminiscent of volleyball legend Karch Kiraly and blocking... with his face! Shaking off the shot, Drew's energy never wavered and he was high-fiving his teammates and getting ready for the next play.
