During the course of the regular season, the No Names and Big Ern's Kids established themselves as the teams to beat in the 7pm league while earning the top two playoff seeds. The No Names did not lose a game all season, but in the first round they simply were not bowling at their best and that left the door open for Indy #1, led by Keith Pomerinke, to make their way to the championship round. On the other half of the bracket the paper champions, known as Big Ern's kids, were handled by the Pinheads. Even a 200 by Dino Dayao was not enough carry Big Ern's Kids to victory. In the championship round, the Pinheads cruised to victory in a total team effort.
