Winter Gentlemen's Flag Football at Seattle Center Sundays

This weeks player of the week goes to Mark G. for his excellence on both sides of the ball. On defense Mark was a menace for the opposing QB as he ball hawked the ball all game. Mark was able to bring in a INT giving the ball to his high scoring offense. On offense Mark helped his team achieve 38 points with his 3 TD's. Great game Mark!

This weeks player of the week goes to the Gu-slinger Evan W. for his role at QB. Evan threw 8 TD passes in a big 58 to 44 win. Evan answered every score his opponent put up with excellent drives and eventual TD's. Great game Evan.

This weeks Player Ninja of the Week goes to Chris V. Chris and his fellow fully clad Ninjas played in a tight game where Chris was able to be the diffrence maker. Chris was light on his feet on defense bringing in 2 INT's helping keeping the ball in the offense's hands. This Ninja did not stop there as well, Chris also chipped in some insurance points with his 2 PAT receptions, utilizing his ninja moves Chris and his squad left the field victorious and in a cloud of smoke! Great game Chris!

More often than not, when you look at the better teams in Underdog, you're going to find some high scoring teams. And when two good teams face off, it's almost guaranteed to be a shootout. So defensive stops are at a premium, and interceptions are absolute game-changers. Jeff Wilson is our Player of the Week because it was his interception return for a touchdown against Big Yac in the semi-finals that made the difference in a narrow 46-44 victory that ultimately propelled LW to the championship. Congratulations to Jeff and to the Lawn Wranglers!
