Faith Berry
Faith Berry
Casual Encounters
Faith played a great game tonight as she and her team played a great opponent in "Flo's Heroes." On opening night, you would think Faith would have been a little rusty but that was not the case. Faith was able to make perfect passes to her team for an easy transition. To go along with her passing clinic, Faith was also incredible on the defensive side where she hustled and got to all the balls around the court. Great game tonight Faith!

Stephen Hong
Stephen Hong
Flo's Heroes
Coming off a loss, Stephen was in the zone as he did not want to suffer another defeat. Constantly encouraging and giving out pointers, Stephen's teammates also rose to the challenge by example. Stephen was an assassin on the court killing every spike that was set to him. Planet Volleywood did not have an answer for him tonight as he could not be blocked. His IQ for the game proved to be unmatched as he made the right decisions on defense and offense. Great job tonight!

Amber and Friends
On a tough night for "Amber and Friends," Amber still managed to be the gem of the night. Everything was on point tonight for Amber. Her passing was unbelievably accurate whether she was bumping or setting. Amber would chase down balls even when the game seemed out of reach. Her effort clearly didn't go unnoticed as her team constantly fought back, even winning the last set. Great job Amber! You are a leader by action!

Ben Zafft
Morning Missiles
Ben was a true sportsman tonight as he helped everyone around him enjoy the game. His constant encouragements elevated his whole team's play as they won the game 2-1. Outside of being all sunshine and rainbows, Ben was dominant at spiking. Ben had his way against his opponent as he laid spike after spike with no one to contest him. Great job tonight Ben.

Scott Isaacson
Scott Isaacson
Temple of Boom- Indy #2
Deemed as the "best looking player on the court" by his teammates, this "pretty boy" brought a lot more to the court than his looks. Squeaking by with a 2-1 victory, Scott was a key part of the team's success. His play was mistake free as he constantly made the perfect pass and challenged everything at the net. Scott's constant hustle and never quitting attitude gave Temple of Boom this great victory.

Danny Meier
Danny Meier
Team Meier
Danny was dominant on the serving line. Each serve had great velocity that tore through the air and came crashing down on the opposing side. Even "Team Meier's" opponents wanted none of Danny's serves, as at times they would play a game of dodge ball to avoid the sting. Clearly Danny can spike from anywhere on the court because that is exactly how his serves looked like. Enough couldn't be said about those serves, but definitely worth the "player of the week" appreciation.

Kelsey Cook
Kelsey Cook
Volleyball: The Freedom of the Balls
Kelsey can set anyone on the court, fooling everyone with her misdirection. Kelsey also made the difficult passes look effortless to set as times she would quickly drop to her knees to make a beautiful set from a low pass. In this league, Kelsey has proven to be the best setter a team could ever want. Great work Kelsey!

Susan Kim
Susan Kim
Flo's Heroes
Susan has been solid all season including tonight. Her back row play was unbelievable as she helped her team advance to the championship game. Time after time Susan was asked to have the tough duty of covering the middle of the court when the opposition sends their spikes. She was fearless as she never shied away from a single spike, instead popping them straight back up for her team to capitalize. Great job Susan. You were great this season!
