If two teams with a similar play on words meet in the finals of a USL volleyball league, the odds are about 2 billion to 1 that they're both working the now classic 'sets - sex' joke somehow. So, it was refreshing to see two groups of defense minded wordsmiths meet to decide who would claim 'Dig' as their own. And while the Statdog still doesn't know the significance of 'Gait Digger,' they prevailed in strong fashion in 2 games, behind solid team play and some great digs. Really.
