It was an improbable run for Murphy's Team culminating in championship glory this past Thursday. You got the feeling right around gametime that they were going to take the title and as the night went along, it became much more apparent. Their mascot, Murphy The Dog, celebrated by digging holes all over the beach.

It was a well contested final match for the midcore title. 4 PACK and Fourplay in the sand traded wins in the first two games and in the third and final game, Fourplay had just a little more and was able to pull it out.
