After a successful regular season, the Recess Renegades entered the playoffs with some confidence behind them. Winning their first playoff game by 20+ runs gave them the extra boost of determination to bring home the title.
In the semifinals they narrowly pulled out the 1 run victory to exact some revenge on the Saints, who had beaten the Renegades earlier in the season by the same margin. They were one step closer.
In the championship game, the combination of Toby and Caitlin Dean was too much for Kicks and Giggles to handle. Toby took care of the offense by booting a grand slam over the fence and providing nearly all the runs the Renegades would need. All the while, Caitlin took care of the defense by shutting down third base with amazing sliding catches, tag outs and hustle plays. When the final out was collected, the Recess Renegades proved to be the class of league. Congrats on an amazing season and championship title!!!
