Random Collision has had a flair for the dramatic these playoffs and Wednesday night's championship game was no different. Random Collision trailed Your Mom Plays Spring Softball for the majority of the game finally tying the score 9-9 in the sixth. With some great defense, including a tag out at home, this score held until the bottom of the eighth. In this inning Random Collision was finally able to get their first two runners on, then stepped up perhaps the most polite player in all of Underdog, Bill Schwarz. Bill smacked a shot down the line for a walk off three run home run. He then proceeded to immediately thank the other team for a great game. Nice job Bill and Random Collision!

Don't let their name fool you, the Indy Corpses bring a lot of lively action to each game they play. This was exactly the case when they took on Still Better Than Twilight in the softcore championship. After Still Better Than Twilight took an early lead, the Indy Corpses battled every single inning until they finally took the lead on a big inning in the bottom of the 5th. This lead would hold and the Indy Corpses would win by a score of 14-7. Pitcher John Jolley took home player of the game honors as he pitched a complete game and was the coach/captain behind all the magic that was the Indy Corpses late spring season. Nice job John and the Indy Corpses!
