Gabriella stuck out to me as a player with great energy and spirit. Regardless of score, she is upbeat and lifts up those around her. She gives great effort and had some great diving moves for balls throughout the night. Not only did she play well for her team, she stepped up to stay and help another team who needed players and gave great energy. Amazing job Gabriella!

Richard not only had a rocking outfit, but he rocked it on the court tonight. The energy was excellent all around, both in cheering for his team and hustle on plays. Also, his dance moves were incredible and distracted players from both teams.

Not many players can play multiple positions competitively and be a true utility on the court. However, Kezia Philip is the exception. No matter what her team, Spiked Punch, needed out of her, she was able to deliver. Great passing, clutch digs, and some nice swings. Therefore, Kezia is our player of the week. Congrats Kezia!!

Cooper played 2 games in 1 night and deservedly was player of the game for BOTH. His blocks and hitting led his team to victory in the playoffs. It was a tight championship game but his wall never waivered. Up against some strong hitters, he blocked swing after swing. When the ball was on his side, he put it away every single time. With his hitting, it’s no wonder this team is the winner of their league. He didn’t let up even in the second game after playing a full 3 set game not even an hour earlier.
