Dan W. is this weeks player of the week with his great field awareness along with his big kicks. Dan played a great game making every catch his way on defense, and solid kicks at the plate. Dan's big kick came in the bottom of the 7th where he sent a shot deep into center sending the defense on a full speed chase, but it wasn't enough. With Dan's 2 run homer gave his team a walk-off 10 to 9 victory. Way to kick off the season Dan W. and good-luck in the future games.

Lauren ended the game with a great catch at SS. This was the end of an amazing comeback from being down by 8 runs. The whole team deserves recognition for their work in the 6th and 7th inning, but it was a result of play like Lauren's throughout the game. Great job Booze on First and Lauren for an amazing game with a spectacular finish.

Pakou was the fan favorite tonight. On defense she showed true grit by going after multiple screaming line drives and never wavering.
Sure she didn't catch all of them, but we were entertained no matter what the outcome was.
Without losing her signature smile Miss Vang played through a tough score and never gave up!

Bald Eagles comeback twice
The Bald Eagles are without a doubt our team of the week. They had to play a double header and performed a comeback in both games. In Game 1 they were down 10-0 and game back in the bottom of the 7th to win 16-15. This was led by Tim F's 2 HRs and 5 RBIs, including the winning RBIs. In Game 2, they came back from being down 4 in the top of the 7th to get a one run lead. While the other team tied it in the bottom of the 7th. Elise caught a line drive and was able to seal a double play to end the game, stranding the winning run on 3rd. Excellent games Bald Eagles! Excellent job Tim and Elise! Great comeback from the team of patriots.

The Recess Renegades played a nail biter back and forth game against Amholes this week. While Recess Renegades pulled through in the bottom of the 7th, Amholes played great this week, even with Issac G kicking a home run, popping a ball on the fence. It took a great performance by Caitlin D to win the player of the week award. Caitlin is the reason that her team was able to win by one run in the bottom of the 7. Not only was Caitlin 4-4 and scoring runs with her bold base running, but she was also a defensive star. Caitlin ended two innings with two great double plays at 3rd base, saving a run each time. This defensive performance is the reason that Recess Renegades squeaked out the win. Thank you both teams for a great game. Great job Recess Renegades for pulling out a win in a nail biter! Excellent job Caitlin for the unbelievable performance!

Kicktators use defense to win both double header games
Christine L is our player of the week. Christine was an integral part of the defense that allowed for her team to win both games in their double header. She made one of the final catches of game 1 deep in the outfield falling back on the hill to end it. Her team could only describe her and her performance as "awesome sauce." Christine continued her defensive performance with more catches in game 2 to win this one as well. Despite a great effort to catch up in the bottom of the 7th from Booze on First, Christine and her team held on because of her great plays. Great job Christine! Great job Kicktators!

Nick G was the integral part of Where My Pitches At's victory this week. Nick was all over the field. He made 3 diving/rolling catches in the outfield to save runs. He made many more regular catches on top of that. He also scored 1 run and had 2 RBIs which made a large difference in the two run win! It was a great week for Where My Pitches At! Great job to the team and Nick G! Great performance!

Tom is our player of the week. It was impressive that both Amholes and Where my Pitches at braved the rain and played strong in the circumstance; however, Tom made several catches despite the slick ball, and two of the catches were amazing sliding ones. Tom also made it round the bases in all of his at bats. Tom played out of his mind, the only description for his week as described by his teammate is that he ran like a gazelle. Our team of the week has to be the champions, Recess Renegades. Brain or "Sparky" provided the spark for the championship game for our winners, Recess Renegades. Sparky was the first one at the field and was ready to go. He was described as the best looking by his teammates. Sparky contributed 4 RBIs and a double play at 1st, and it inspired a great performance by the team. It was a great season and a great week for our champs, Recess Renegades. Great job!
