Summer Softcore Kickball in West Seattle Mon/Wed

Another week, another slow start for "Drunk again...". After falling down 5-0, they needed someone to spark a rally. Josh was that spark. After scoring their first run of the night earlier, Josh came up in the 6th with a runner on and still facing a 1-run deficit. He was nothing but clutch, driving in the game tying run. Josh eventually crossed the plate to give his team the lead and the win. Way to go Josh!

With some great defense and even better offense, Jessica willed the Hustlers to the upset over the undefeated Ninja's. Patrolling centerfield, Jessica made a couple of fantastic catches to help shut down the opponents offense. At the plate she was a force to be reckoned with. Getting on base 3 times and driving in her team's first 3 runs, Jessica set the table for the walk off victory. Congrats Jessica, you are our Player of the Week!

All season long before each game Zach has been practicing his kicks to find the perfect stroke. This was the week that it all came together. In a super tight game, Zach executed the perfect swing. He launched a tape measure shot over the outfielder's head, clearing the bases for a 2 run home run! Keep up the good work Zach and congrats, you are our Player of the Week!!

Masterful pitching. That is what Grace brought to the diamond on Wednesday. Anytime Blue Ballz got a threat going, she was sure to shut down the rally. Her team may have been struggling to produce runs at the plate, but Grace took what they gave her and made it stand up. Fantastic job on the mound Grace!

This weeks player of the week goes to the last kicker of the season Marcus A, who ended the season with a walk-off kick to win the championship. Marcus kicked a very solid shot that was hard to handle up the middle scoring the winning run who was on 3rd and gave the Ninjas a 1 run victory in the chipper! Great Kick Marcus!
