Summer Co-ed Softball at Queen Anne/Interbay Tues/Thurs

This weeks player of the week is Jessica L. from Master Batters for her excellent defense. Jessica played a great first base reeling in every off center throw in her direction helping her squad get outs at 1st. Jessica didn't let anything get by her and had lots of great scoops, digging throw and throw making her defense look good. Jessica's Gold-glove performance earns her this weeks player of the week! Great game Jessica!

This weeks player of the week goes to Jake A. for his filthy shot he hit for a homer. In a game that was decided in the 7th inning with a walk-off 23 to 24 final, Jake's hit is the most memorable part of the game. With plenty of fans in the seats, this big lefty got the pitch he wanted and sent it over the fence in left-field. It was a site to see, and Jake was able to touch them all and go on to a big victory. Great game!

While going 3 for 4 at the plate and pitching a lights out game from the mound, Bill Schwarz is your player of the week. He had a HR and two doubles while driving in 4 runs. Great game Bill!!

Thursday night at Queen Anne saw some great softball played by T&A and Lane was right in the thick of it. He batted 4 for 5 with 2 triples and 2 doubles and also driving in 5 runs. He played multiple positions during the game and shined at every position. Great game Lane!!

In what was probably the best game so far this year in the Queen Anne League two teams battled to the death for eight long innings. In the end it came down to the bottom of the 8th and Buckley's needing a run to win. Mark Jones steps into the box with two on and delivers a rope to right center clearing the bases and putting the game away. Mark batted 4 for 4 with 2 triples, a double and a single which scored the game winning run. Great game Mark!
