Brian Brumleve was a great team player today. He did a great job of sharing the court with his teammates, yet made sure he attempted to save the ball every chance he got. Brian was constantly on his feet and ready for anything. With his help, Sloppy Sets was able to win their three matches and start the season out with a bang! Keep up the great work Brian, and lets see those skills continue to improve week by week!

Congrats Jacob!! Jacob Lucas was all over the courts today. He was diving for balls all night and made some killer saves. Up at the net, Jacob had a bunch of kills that led to Bump, Set, Drink!'s victory in the first match of the night. He made sure every one of his teammates was having a good time and did a great job at keeping up the team's morale. Great work Jacob, and great work Bump, Set, Drink!!

Jopara - Player of the Week
David Escobar was just on fire for all Jopara's matches today! He had great communication with the other players and peppered the ball so intensely. David set the ball with such precision, teammates were able to make point scoring plays out of them. He would move where the ball moved or was passed to even if he wasn't the one to get it. David shows great talent on the volleyball court and we are bound to see more in the next few weeks before playoffs! Keep up the intensity David!

Murphy's Team had an excellent night of volleyball today. From one armed saves to countless stuffs at the net, this team's defense is solid. It's hard to get anything past this amazing defense and it shows in the stats. On top of all the diving saves and impressive blocks, Murphy's has a great team attitude, and they can hit too! The combination of solid D, a skilled offense, and great spirits, they're definitely a team to watch. Way to go Murphy's Team!!

We've Seen Better Passes in Bars was literally hot stuff on the courts this week! They were amazing at communicating with one another in passing the ball. They almost had all plays with three passes in order to get control of the ball and make smart plays. We've Seen Better Passes in Bars played with all of their heart tonight and deserve to get this recognition of Team of the Week! Bring your A-game to the playoffs next week and go to the Championships!!!

They truly have their eyes on the goal: Champs. Murphy's Team is had some great passing as well as saving the ball with their quick digs from almost impossible spikes from their opponents.
