Fall Co-ed Kickball at Lower Woodlands Mondays

The first POTW of the season goes to Chris P. for his all around awesome play. Chris played stellar defense with tons of great catches covering lots of real-estate in a 8 man defense. While his team played short players, Chris picked up the slack. On defense Chris sealed his honors with an amazing throw out at homeplate during a double play that stunned all the players and fans. Chris was also a big key in coming back to help tie up a great game between two very solid teams with. Chris was by far the best player of the night on all the fields, and earns this weeks honors as Player of the Week! Great game Chris!

After a forgettable game 1 of their double header, the Green Dots needed someone to step up and help avoid the sweep. Thor was exactly what they ordered. In the top of the 7th and the score tied, Thor stepped up with 2 outs and a runner on third. With ice water in his veins, he kicked a solid single to right to drive in what would be the game winning run! Great job Thor!!

This weeks player of the week is Will P. for stepping up in the 8th inning and starting the winning rally in the nights closest game. With both teams showing outstanding play, it was Will and his squad Don't Drop the Fifth who came out on top. Will lead his team with 5 runs kicked in and also played solid defense. It was Will's big boot in the 8th hat sealed the deal and earns him this weeks player of the week! Great game Will!
