This season's first Player of the week is Eric K. For his all around outstanding play and hustle. Eric was full speed all game, and was able to showcase his speed in left-field covering lots of real-estate on balls in in the area, was also a speed demon on the bases helping give his teams much needed runs. Eric sealed this weeks honors in the one run victory his team had in their second game. With the score tied in the bottom of the 7th and an out recorded, Eric hit a shot to deep right and rounded the bases for a walk-off homer giving his team a "W" in a 12 to 11 final. Great games Eric!

Muskrats Beat Up On PB's Army
Muskrats Beat Up On PB's Army
Solid Showing Solidifies Their Dominance
One thing that I like about this team is that they have fun and laugh the entire game no matter what is happening during the game. When errors are made they laugh and joke about it never getting too serious about what is going on. Make no mistake though, this team will bury you. They are stone cold killers. They will destroy teams while laughing and joking the entire time which says a lot about their character and the way they approach each game. They are by far the best team in the league and I don't see any other team stepping up to challenge their dominance. Hats off to the Muskrats and the way they get after it.

Alex Trask Puts On Hitting Clinic In Win
Alex was absolutely on fire on Saturday at Hamlin Park. He batted 5 for 5 with 2 triples, a double and 2 singles. He also batted in 4 runs and scored on 3 occasions. Anytime the Muskrats needed a spark it was Alex to deliver the goods. With runners on every time he was up, he delivered a base clearing shot to add insurance runs to an increasing lead that wound up holding up. Great job Alex.

Zags Reach Title Game
Grayson Mays' Pitching Quiets Big Bats
For two games on Saturday at Hamlin park the Zags played inspired softball and proved to all of the other teams in the league that they are for real. Their hitting, their defense and their hustle could not be matched all day as they roll through the first playoff game to set up a date with power house Seattle Shaggy Muskrats. Grayson and his strategic pitching was the difference in both games holding both teams he faced to 13 runs over two games. Hitting the inside and outside corners consistently and simply hitting the strike zone. His defense had his back the entire game and together it was a perfect combination and a perfect storm for a championship. Great pitching Grayson!
