Fall Softcore Volleyball at First Baptist Thursdays

Angela walked on the court like it was just another hard night of rough 'em up volleyball. No big deal was written all over her swagger. Little did she know that in no short time that she would be sprawling out in every which way after any volleyball that crossed her path. He fearless pursuit of each and every volleyball in her zone led to many death defying dives, but even more, to many saved points for her team. For this selfless effort she has been named player of the week for Underdog's Softcore Thursdays.

When someone bikes to a league and is all smiles you know their team is there to have fun and put everything out there! Terry is no exception! With encouragement and scrapiness Terry helped the team win their first match of the season! Way to go Terry and Cabbage Patch Digs!

Victor "Volley Yoda" Intermaggio channeled his inner Jedi this evening. The force flowed through Mr. Intermaggio like water through a turbine - powering him up for a level of defensive splendor not seen since the days of the Galactic Federation! Victor made no less than five spine tingling dive saves to keep his team's rally alive. His perceived lack of concern for his own well-being, as he dashed and danced like a Jedi Knight dodging blaster shots, only motivated his team further towards victory. For your courage during dire volleyball situations you have been awarded Player of the Week, Mr. Intermaggio. As Yoda would have said, "The force is strong with this one."

Paul Johnson really out did himself this week. With an all out effort on every point, Paul had several great blocks and spikes in this weeks play-off match! A huge force at the net, Paul was pure intimidation for anyone on the other side of the net. Not only did he out do himself on the court, he also kept encouraging his teammates even if he was standing on the sidelines. Great job Paul, keep up the great work!
