After going undefeated in the regular season, Too Damn Lazy contiunued their winning ways in 2 close games. In their semi final game, the game was a close 5-5 tie in the bottom of the 4th when they started to unload some runs on Team Zissou. A 5 run 5th inning was followed by a 6 run 6th, creating a hole that was impossible for Zissou to claw back from. The championship game featured a close back and forth game. Much like the Wright/Taylor fight, this one could have gone either way. After taking a one run lead in the top of the 7th and final inning, Goat Rodeo got 2 quick fly outs. With the pressure on, Too Damn Lazy got 2 consecutive singles to place runners on 1st and 2nd with 2 outs and Brian Jones up. Brian launched a ball out to deep right field for a 3 run home run and the championship.
