POTW: Seth Lay
POTW: Seth Lay
Indy Team #1
After a great performance by Indy #1, the Statdog had a tough time deciding who to give the award for Player of the Week. It came down to Todd Adams and Seth Lay. Todd opened the action with a long touchdown reception and also made a key interception that ultimately turned the game in Indy 1's favor. The Player of the Week is the man who threw that touchdown to Todd and that is the aforementioned Seth Lay. Seth took over the QB duties late in week 2 and Indy #1 has looked better ever since. If their strong performance this week is indicative of future games, you may be looking at the future Thursday League Champions.

POTW: Rob Neff
Silly Midgets
With their season on the line and their quarterback out of town, the Silly Midgets needed someone to step up in order to advance to the championship round of the Thursday Night Lights League. The man who stepped up was none other than Rob Neff who had two interceptions and two touchdowns, leading the Midgets in a great defensive effort on their way to victory. The win sets up a week 6 rematch between the Midgets and Shorelines heroes in which the Midgets prevailed. With the season series tied at 1-1 this rubber match will be a fitting conclusion to what has been a great season.

PLAYOFFS
POTW: Brad Stevenson
POTW: Brad Stevenson
Silly Midgets
Without a doubt, the Player of the Week had to go to the man who made about five plays that could been the play of the week. Brad Stevenson made three key fourth down catches along with the last two touchdowns (both with less than five minutes remaining). The final touchdown came with no time left on the clock and was the difference between a championship and going back to the drawing board.
