Fall Eastside Big Turkey Bowling at Sun Villa Wednesdays 7pm

Becky Newby brought some nasty stuff to the alley Wednesday night, sources report. Babies cried. Little children ran in terror. Other adults averted their gaze, and the elderly-well- they just yelled at her to get off their damn lawn. When the smoke cleared, though, she had silenced them all, bowling games of 138 and 173 respectively. Indeed, it was the nastiest performance of the night, even nastier than Janet Jackson could fathom, and it earned her a POTW nod. The initial source of the nastiness could not be found, but rumours abound that Becky is in fact a practicioner of the blackest arts, that she had made pacts with demon overlords to attain her bowling prowess. We can only hope that this is not the case, and that Becky was just- as they say in the industry- "hot".

The regular members of The Pickup Artists were missing on Wednesday. Fortunately, the Blues Brothers, Pat, The Ladies Man, Mary Katherine Gallagher, Linda Richtman, and Tina Fey all showed up to bowl in their place. Jake (or maybe Elwood, they all look alike to me) led this team of classic SNL characters to a win their non-costumed, but happily drunk foes.

In a season lacking in wins, but plenty of promise, Stephanie carried the rest of the Angels on her back, rolling a season-high 185 en route to her team's first win this season!
