Fall Co-ed Softball at Hamlin Park Wednesdays

Mike came up big in the bottom of the 6th. With two on, he hit a game winning single to score the winning run. Thanks to his hit and the great pitching provided by his teamate Cortney, they won a close game.

"JIMMY JACK" JACKS ONE OUT!!!!

Adam referred to as Jimmy Jack by his team mates, blasted a two run shot over the fence Wednesday night at Hamlin Park. The ball finally came down this morning somewhere in Europe. In addition to this he had two other hits and 4 RBIs. Between Jimmy Jack and his other teammates, they hit a total of four, over the fence, homeruns. Unfortunately, the final homerun counted as an out. Adam and his teammates had a spectacular evening.

When picking a Player of the Week, it is always difficult to choose just one person. Some times the player of the week comes froma losing team. This is one of those weeks. This week Lee Graber hit two triples a single and an inside the park home run. The reason why I chose him for player of the week is because he did all this on a severally injured ankle. He ran, well gimped around the bases in pain. Despite his efforts and the efforts of his team, they came up short in this very close game.
