Spring Kickball at Lower Woodlands Wednesdays

You heard of day/night double headers In the mlb. We'll Jake brings a whole new category to the table... Try twilight triple header. Jake played in three games on this night giving his all from the opening bell to the closing. Jake provided a threat in the line up belting double after double but just as impressive was his stellar defense. The lone clubhouse reporter could be heard shouting that was one helluva catch on many occaisions after play that Jake turned in. With the final game's score tight in the final inning Jake makes a diving grab in foul territory to kill any would be rally to preserve his team's victory. A rapper from years prior once stated... There is nothing like the old school. And that is what Jake was on this night. Old school!

Michelle impressed both teams tonight with her clutch defensive plays at first base.
Multiple times she took hotshots out of the air as if her hands were coated in pine tar.
She star shone brightest in the 7th inning when the pressure was on to hold the lead. With a couple opportunities coming her way, Michelle gobbled up the ball and made a spectacular double play.
Great job Michelle!

Bobby took a break from his usual position on the mound to play the other side of the battery and catch.
With a lockdown performance on defense behind the plate it was clear Bobby wasn't just taking a game off.
On offense he contributed his usual power strokes and placed line drives. Nice game Bobby!
